Should the N. Irish players in yesterdays Rugby final receive knighthoods from the Queen?
No way. They all played as a team. No one should be singled out for an individual award, particularly from the Queen of England. Perhaps they might get “Team of the Year” in the BBC sports awards. They will all now be in contention to play for the British Isles forthcoming Lions tour, which is selected from the best British and Irish players that performed in the recent 6 Nations.
