Should the legal voting age be lowered to 16?
You make valid points… Right now the age of adulthood is 18, lets lower it to 16, then we can use Capital Punishments on kids that commit violent crimes, you can get out in the work force earlier and then we can lower the retirement age, you can start contributing to the Social Security System, move out and start a family on your own (why not most 16 year olds are having children anyway, he77 there was a 13 year old on Answer! yesterday that was pregnant), buy and own property, form legal agreements, its a fantastic idea. I support it… as long as it lowers the age of retirement, I don’t wanna work the next 40 years…
