Should The Hoodlum Who Helped Hide The Rhys Jones Murder Weapon Be Granted Immunity From Prosecution?
Normally I would say no, but in this case, I think there is a real attempt by the police to get the scumbag who murdered Rhys bought to justice. It’s obvious that the gang had closed ranks so they clearly thought the only way to get the boy to talk was to offer him immunity. mind you, I can imagine the boy was shitting himself when they turned up on his doorstep with the murder weapon and he probably thought he was in no position to turn them away, bearing in mind they’d just murdered somebody. Unfortunately lowlife scrotum’s like these people won’t ever do the right thing off their own backs and will only act if they think there’s something in it for themselves. Put them in a room with Rhy’s parents and a baseball bat for half an hour and see how big and clever they are then.
