Well I work for the new LBG (previous HBOS employee) and even I am thinking complete nationalisation would be best for the company – if only to put an end to the uncertainty surrounding the company right now. The last few months have literally felt like being on a rollercoaster as we watch the share prices go up and down and we wonder what the hell will happen next. First, I’ll make it clear that I am most certainly not a ‘fat cat’. I work in the insurance department for the Halifax and I earn around £17K a year! So please be kind to me, people! And secondly, I also want to say that I almost feel ashamed to work for a company (or ex-company) that was basically brought to its knees by its own greed. I am still reeling in shock after yesterday’s announcement about the £10bn loss, and I cannot believe that this kind of utter mess was seemingly ignored by the regulators and allowed to go ahead and get worse! I’m no expert in economics – though I have had a bit of a crash-course in them rec
