Should the Federal Gov start punishing cities and states who refuse to enforce federal immigration laws?

Yes they should be punished for not following the excising laws of this nation,no city or state should be able to circumvent federal laws. The punishment should be the with holding of government funds until they correct their mistakes and a huge fine/or criminal punishment of the mayor/governor for doing something blatantly illegal.in the eyes of our federal government. Each state is only a member of this country, they can not make or break federal laws. The federal government needs to get up off its lazy war centered azz and enforce all laws .The laws pertaining to illegals needs/must be enforced in an aggressive proactive manner. Our borders must be secured and now. Vote the lazy bastards out of office Make them take a strong stand against law breaking criminals.
