Should the EU sink boats carrying illegal immigrants to prevent them entering Europe?
Of course the boats should be sunk. Otherwise illegal immigrants will continue to be encouraged to enter the European Union. When the illegals arrive they will continue to be taken care of and allowed to stay. Just as they are now. To judge from some of the comments on here, anyone would think this policy had never been tried before. In fact Australia employed precisely this method of discouraging illegal immigration. Its border patrol ships were fitted with weapons and presumably these weapons were ready for use. As a taxpayer and a British citizen I simply do not want my country filled with North African illegals. I want the member states of the European Union to show that they have some balls, for a change. Instead of constantly rolling over like lambs the minute they are forced to confront criminality. Illegal immigrants are nothing more than criminals. What part of that sentence do the liberal commentators on here not understand?
