No, nobody is responsible for the poverty still prevailing in India after more than sixty years of independence. It is the politicians, especially the congress leaders, who did not do enough to eradicate poverty with absolute power in the center as well as inthe states.

No the educated youth are in no way responsible for poverty in India. It is a gift that has been coming down since independence .The mistakes of 60 years of misrule can not be wished away all of a sudden. The Govt policies are short sighted.and implemented in a careless way.Remember Raoul Gandhi admitting that a Rs100 worth of aid given to the poor turns into Rs10 by the time it reaches him.The problem will persist even if the youth jump into th e political bandwagon. Change of laws is the first step forward.
