Should the department of Homeland Security begin profiling to stop Islamic terrorists?
Just because it isn’t public policy, doesn’t mean that it isn’t carried out or practiced in actuality. People need to understand these simple truths: people and organizations will at times be forced to preach things for the sake of political correctness, even when they have no intention of fulfilling or abiding by these preachings reality. Of course the TSA profiles, so does virtually every law enforcement agency in the nation to varying degrees. It’s like this, in order for a police officer to pull over a car, he needs a justifiable reason for doing so. But there are so many reasons they can cite, be they justified or not, that they can pull over anyone at any point in time and the driver behind the wheel can’t really do anything about it. A police officer can’t say, “I pulled you over because I was bored,” or “because I suspected you were drunk or on your way to/from a crime.” Instead the officer could cite some otherwise irrelevant driving violation that most people remain unaware o
