Should the Apocrypha (Deuterocanonical books) be in the Bible?
God did not lay down what should be in the Bible; men did in various Church councils. The current books in the Bible were not finally agreed for over 3 centuries after Jesus’ death. There are many books inspired by God not in the Bible and perhaps the Deuterocanonical books are among them. 41 Did Samson pull down the Temple of Dagon? Many of the feats of Joshua and the Judges who succeeded him sound a little fanciful. There is no reason to disbelieve though there are reasons why we should recognise that we haven’t got the whole story!
