Should teenage mothers be given prison terms?

Then I assume that teenage father’s should be locked up as well – right? After all it takes two to tango, and they should have kept it in their pants! By your assessment I should be locked up – after all I was a teenage mother. I was just 16 when I had my oldest daughter…….I’ve never taken a dime in public assistance, I put myself through school for not one, but two bachelor’s degrees and a Masters, and my daughter who is now in college is a wonderful upstanding citizen who works and attends college full-time. ::::sticks hands out to jimbo::::: Lock me up warden….obviously I’m a bad person. Here’s a thought — why don’t we teach these girls (and young men) how to be responsible both before the situation happens AND get them on their feet after the baby is on the way.
