As someone who holds a masters in education, I do agree that the education system is in dire need of change. The problem isn’t with the teachers, but with the burden that are placed on teachers. Teachers are meant to teach, not babysit people’s children. I find that the disrespect that teachers face is incredibly insulting and it truly does discourage teachers from being enthusiastic. As for your notion that teachers are uneducated, I think that isn’t the case. There might be a few bad teachers out there, but that goes for any profession. I think that there needs to be more money put into education so that teachers can get paid a realistic living wage salary instead of being insulted with salaries that are so low that it turns teachers towards private educational institutions. I also strongly disagree with your view that you aren’t taught to think or don’t really learn what you’re doing or what actually comprehend what you’re learning.
