Should tax payer money fund the Shedd Aquarium?

Local taxes can do it, but federal money should not. Shedd educates lots of Chicago area children on sealife and aquatic issues. If Chicagoans want to fund it, they should. I don’t see why the ticket prices wouldn’t allow it to be profitable, though.
