Should tanning salons be banned?
there were warning signs. i presume at 14yrs old she can read. her mother works in health and safety and the girl wants to be a barrister. (I’m sure she’ll make a good one). I saw her on the tv yesterday and my immediate thought was “well she sounds bright enough” but she chose to ignore the signs and no amount of legislation can cover stupidity. You can argue and say that at 14 you’re allowed to be stupid but she’d asked her mum for a spray tan and was refused and they may well have had a conversation about tanning anyway. Tanning salons shouldn’t be banned, people have a right to toast themselves to bright orange if they choose but at the same time, pubs and off licenses ask for proof of age so for something like this i feel that these tanning centres should be manned not banned.
