When you play sweeps, try using as small amount of gain as possible. Learn to mute your strings while sweeping effeciently so you wont have any extra noise. the cleaner your guitar tone is the more mistakes show up, thats why noobs like to blast out full gain on theyre amps to sound “brutal”. Get a bit of reverb, get some bass and mids going, itl really thicken up the sound. Highs shoudnlt be maxed out completely and gain shoudnlt be maxed out too, mabye 3 oclock MAX.
