Should students say the Lords Prayer in school?

0

In the U.S. we have separation between church and state… therefore any religious observance (i.e. prayer) should not be allowed. If you allowed the Lord’s prayer you would have to allow all other religions to recite their prayers. That is why today, the U.S. schools have a ‘moment of silence’ so the student can choose either to pray to whatever deity they believe in, or in the case of an atheist… look at the ceiling tiles and count the holes.
