Should students delay registering for the Professional Scheme as the qualification will be changing?

No. Students who wish to pursue ACCA’s Professional qualification should register on the current scheme. ACCA has worked hard to ensure that no students will be disadvantaged by the conversion arrangements in place for exams and the practical experience requirements, or will have to undergo additional assessment or repeat work experience already achieved upon conversion to the new qualification. Any exam passes achieved under the current syllabus will be automatically converted to the new syllabus in August 2007. An online exam conversion tool is currently available to help students understand which papers they will receive credit for and papers they will need to complete under the new syllabus.
