Should students carry guns to stop any school/collage massacres?
I think students that are allowed to carry guns should be allowed to carry them, but it’s their choice when/if they chose to be armed. I don’t think allowing guns at schools would stop school massacres, but I don’t think banning them does either. Either way, I believe in our right to bear arms. The people who you want to be armed the least will be armed if they want to be, whether it is legal or not.
Anyone qualified to own a handgun should be trained and licensed to carry if desired. Any licensed, trained students should be allowed to carry on a college campus. This would be rather difficult to accomodate for high schools since most students are not old enough to acquire a license to carry. Not that I’m a fan of getting ‘government permission’ to exercise my rights, a person should get some training and be certified by some professional organization to prove they are capable of safely using a handgun in public.
