Should srilankan passport person who lives in uk need viza to go around europe countries?
It actually does not make a difference because of your status in the UK. If the UK was in the Schengen zone (which it is not) then you would be able to travel within the Schengen countries with your residence permit and passport. However, the UK is not part of the Schengen zone and therefore to travel to these countries, the necessity of a visa is dependant on your passport alone. As a Sri Lanki national then yes, you will need a visa So you should visit the embassy (in the UK) of the country where you plan to spend the most time in. If this is not known, then it is to the country which you enter first. For countries in Europe which are not part of the Schengen zone, you may also need additional visas.
