Should soda machines go back in school?

Though I do enjoy soda, I don’t think they should go back in schools. I am a student myself, a mere teenager. We have enough sugar in our diets already, not to mention that the carbonation can cause stomach cramps, headaches, and problems with acid reflux. Plus, the caffeine found in most sodas can lead to children becoming overactive and hyper, and then crash later, once the caffeine has worn off. Individual problems aside, I should also mention the fact that sodas like Pepsi, for example, contains 150 calories in a 12-oz can. It has no protein, and a shocking 42 grams of added sugar. Personally, I believe soda machines should not be back in school. Just a reminder- this is from a 14-year old who has heard many complaints from fellow students who want their soda machines back.
