Should soccer have a video referee to review important decisions such as goals or penalties?
It has been proposed before. They have even developed a “chip” to go inside the ball that tries to determine whether or not it fully crossed the goal line, for example. I also have read that some tests are still taken place. I would be against it in the sense that it will very much interrupt the flow of the game, I know many people consider soccer boring or even slow, but at least it doesn’t have that much idle time as American Football (which has succesfully implemented instant replay reviews) or Baseball (which hasn’t).
