Should Smoking Be Banned In Cars Carrying Children???
It has been banned in the area that I live in, in Australia – but unfortunately it hasn’t made much difference at all. Since its implementation on the first of April only 2 people have been caught – which I suppose is better than nothing – however everytime I go out I still see people lighting up with children in their car. I strongly disagree with smoking in cars carrying children. As an adult, if I’m in a car where someone is smoking, I have the choice of being able to leave (if that’s what I want to do!). A child on the other hand, if they’re in the car with their parents or friends parents or whatever, has no choice in the matter. Unfortunately however, I think the laws make little difference.
Don’t be fooled by the smoking bans the government has them in place for one reason they are only in place so they can’t be sued & to get some money from the public who break the law by smoking where they should not if they were serious they would close the factorys down cars KILL heaps of people they dont do much about them do they 4000 odd people alone in America die every year in road accidents & for our small country in Australia we lose heaps of people to then there is the pollution the cars cause & again what is done about that nothing!!!
