There are a lot of things two Indian journalists should apologize for, says Dhananjay Mahapatra, but they aren’t the only ones who should apologize Times of India Monday, July 30, 2007 By Dhananjay Mahapatra The Supreme Court has urged two journalists to tender unconditional apology for the sting operation they did in 2004 at Meghani Nagar court in Gujarat. For, they tarnished the image of the entire judiciary and caused unmitigable harassment to the magistrate concerned. The magistrate had issued bailable arrest warrants against the President and CJI on a fictitious complaint filed with the help of advocates. The CBI has given the magistrate a clean chit while chargesheeting the lawyers. The Chief Justice of India, being the head of the family, was understandably pained by the years of embarrassment suffered by the magistrate and took steps to salvage his pride.
