Absolutely Roman Polanski should return to the United States for his crimes. He should not receive special consideration for anything. Yes he has endured some pretty horrific things in his life but does that excuse him from having sex with a 13 year old? No. Yes he is an accomplished talented director but does that allow him not to be held responsible? No. Bottom line, Roman Polanski should not be excused because of his status.
