Should ricky hatton retire now?

0

There is no reason for Hatton to continue fighting now, he has lost to 2 world class opponents, 1 with no loses and 1 with just incredible speed and agility, no one wants to retire on a loss, but if he continue’s he will end up being a wash up ex champ just looking for fights to win under his belt and not facing worthy opponents anymore. It will play on his mind if he continues that will make him alot easier opponent to fight and will soil his great carear he has had. Sorry son, but ur days have been done.

Ricky Hatton followed his dream throughout his boxing career to become professional and one of the top boxers. I also payed £14.95 and stayed up all night to watch Ricky. I was disappointed that Ricky’s performance in the ring was so poor and how easily it was for a speed boxer like Manny Pacquio to knock him out. Ricky Hatton should retire because there is nothing left in the tank for him, he is aged 31 and like we saw with Muhammed Ali he is starting to become a punching bag. He lacks his guard and takes too many punches that is his reason for his loss against Manny. He has lost the title to Manny and there is not much point in staying in the ring because he will contract Parkinson’s disease in the future. After boxing for years there comes a time when you have reached your goal and you have tried your best in the ring. Hatton needs to get out of the ring now to save him from brain damage in the future. If only he would of kept his guard up at all times and was as confident as Manny,
