Should Renée wear a fat suit to play Bridget Jones for the third time?
Hurrah – more details are being revealed about the upcoming Bridget Jones’ Diary sequel, which is rumoured to include Bridget’s quest to have a baby in her ’40s. It has been suggested, however, that unlike the last two films, Renée Zellweger will be ditching the high-fat diet needed to bulk her tiny frame up to a British size 12, but will instead be donning a ‘fat suit’ for her role as the famously inept Bridget. The first film in the franchise saw her shrink back down to a tiny size 6 to 8 after filming ended, only to bulk back up to a size 12 to 14 when filming began on Bridget Jones 2: The Edge of Reason. It’s thought that both Hugh Grant and Colin Firth will be back for the third film. Here at Handbag, we’re big fans of slow and steady weight loss and weight gain – and yo-yo dieting is most defintely not on our list of favourite things. But what do you think? Should Renée wear a fat suit for Bridget Jones 3, or should she bulk up again? Have your say by commenting and voting in our
