Should Redken Hair Products Be Used On Women Of Color?
I don’t know which specific Redken products they are using on you but I have tried Redken for color treated hair…yes I know that’s not what you were talking about, but I can say that the formula is supposed to be good for that hair type and it dried me out too…Now, knowing that women of color have an even tougher time keeping their hair of good quality, I would recommend maybe going to a store that sells professional hair products, and bring them with you. That is saying that you like this new salon minus the issue with the hair products. Also, they should have more than just Redken to use, also if the person is not one sharing the same color as you, they might not know what to do, or if they are inexperienced etc…I don’t know if Matrix makes one for you, but I know that it treated me very well. Good luck!!! I have also heard that conditioning your hair with eggs or mayo while in the shower is supposed to help moisturize. I know it sounds gross, but Im sure you have the stuff in
