Should real Christians believe in dinosaur bones?

Dinosaur bones are scientific samples, not objects of belief. Sarah Palin is a mere human, also not to be believed in. As a Christian, I have dinosaur bones and other fossils hanging on the walls of my living room, and I will probably be voting Republican this year.

Skippy: awesome answer! Oh, and if Christians don’t “believe” in dinosaur bones, they are completely ignorant. A God existing is up to speculation, but dinosaur bones WITHOUT A DOUBT, with 100% verifiable evidence actually exists.

I believe that John McCain is a dinosaur and I’d like to bone Sarah Palin. But then again, I’m not a Christian.

First of all, fossilization is not a slow, gradual process that takes place over millions of years. Rather, fossilization almost always requires rapid burial. The reason why the Bible seemingly doesn’t mention dinosaurs is because you don’t know all the facts. Fossilization is a very rare and unusual occurrence, not an everyday event. According to the best available evidence, animals and plants cannot become fossils unless they are buried relatively quickly and deeply in the appropriate materials. The usual animal or plant that dies in a forest does not become a fossil, and neither does the average creature that dies in a sea or lake. Under most normal conditions, a dead creature floats and disintegrates. The body is destroyed by predators, bacteria and the elements. Creationists believe that the conditions that would be most ideal for the kind of massive fossil formations found in the sediments would be a violent, global flood catastrophe. Dinosaur remains worldwide are associated wit

What is the problem? Why can’t I believe in both? I’ve actually touched dinosaur bones, so I know they are real. I’ve seen Gov. Palin winking at me from the TV, so I know that she’s real. I did not say she is “for real,” but there is there question that she exists. Just as the dinosaur bones exist.
