Should Rafa Benitez be asked to leave Liverpool?
In my opinion, Rafa Benitez did not do so well lately and that really numbered his days in Liverpool. I am too sure that insufficient funds are the cause of Liverpool‘s slump. It is true that Liverpool, being a grand and great club for years, should have enough finances to afford world class players into their squad, and no reason should they suffer from the lack of transfer budget to get their club into the next level. The owners should have done something about it. However, it was not purely the lack of funds that limited Liverpool, but also the poor and unfortunate decisions that Rafa Benitez made in transfers. Rafa Benitez bought Robbie Keane just to spend him back to Tottenham in the very same season. Alberto Aqualiani was on the bench for so long and it seems like he just warmed up recently after a long while.
