Should prisoners have to wear uniforms in prison?
It is arguable that when you commit a criminal activity and sent to prison as a result you give up your rights to an individual identity as you are a criminal, although this is not my opinion. I suppose it is a control mechanism – uniforms must promote a reduction in the bullying of other inmates and the stealing of their possesions by others because no one shall have anything better than that of the next person.
