Should power factor results be corrected to oil temperature?

PCORE PRC bushings have a significant correction curve. The readings on the nameplate are corrected to 20C. Any field readings must also be corrected. Most test set manufacturers have the correction factors built into their software, or published in their instruction manuals. If you need a copy of the correction curve, contact the factory in LeRoy. PCORE POC bushings do NOT have a significant correction curve. It is usually not necessary to correct these results.
