Should “Parking Fees” for participants engaged in a WtW activity such as a SIP/Educational/Vocational Training and/or employment be issued/authorized under Transportation or Ancillary?
“Parking Fees” should never be authorized under Ancillary. “Parking Fees” for participants engaged in a SIP/ED/Voc and/or EIC component shall always be issued under Transportation as appropriate. Reference GAIN On-Line Transportation Policy Section 1222.445 – Parking Expenses. GSW/Case Managers shall authorize parking through the Transportation MATE screen on GEARS by completing the sections on Parking, Parking Period, and Parking Verification Date.
