Should parents have only one child?

0

I am a single child. I’m in my early 30’s, have a husband, and don’t have children at the moment. My husband is also an only child. Now I have a one child of my own and I am planning on having more because I mostly hated being an only child. For me, I wish I had a sibling and feel I missed out on this experience…it would be nice to have someone to call a brother or sister, someone who understands how the family is and growing up together. Often being an only child was lonely. I don’t feel as if I got to be a kid as much as friends with siblings did. At my house, my parents and I read and played board games and watched movies.
