Should Osama Bin Laden be tried ( if caught ) in a civilian or military court ?

0

The worst thing that we can do to Osama bin Laden is to let him rot, alive, and in public. It shouldn’t require any secret evidence to convict him; there’s plenty of videotapes of him taking responsibility. Give him a lawyer, and show the world that this is a nation of laws, a just nation, one the world should look up to. He and his lawyer will do their best to make a mockery of the proceedings, but if we can convict him by our own rules, clear and fair, we’ll show the world that we’re a civilized nation and better than him and his followers. That will do a lot more damage to them than hiding him away for mere revenge.
