Should one of Charlie Mansons “girls” be freed now that shes 60 and apologetic?
I would say no, if she was proven to be the one who stabbed her to death, otherwise I don’t know. Those people (Manson’s ‘family’) were brainwashed and crazy. I can’t imagine how anybody could have fallen for a lunatic like Manson but drugs can do strange things, especially if people are already unbalanced and looking for a leader. I’m sure she is sorry, but after all these years in prison she has little else to do but be sorry, if only for herself. I’m not a Psychiatrist or something to be able to tell her mental state, it would almost take somebody who knew her then and now and since the murders were over 40 years ago there might not be anybody who was on the case then still around as an expert witness. I would say I would not want to be involved in any kind of parole thing. That seems harder than being on a jury case when a murder occurs, the evidence then could be more cut and dried. This kind of thing is harder to pin down and is much more subjective.
