Should obese people have to pay for 2 seats on an airplane?

of course -if one requires 2 seats to accomodate girth, then one needs to pay for both seats.

If they require the use of two seats, certainly they should pay for both. To be fair, anyone should also be given the option of purchasing an empty seat for extra room if so desired. But considering the current overcrowded state of air travel, I doubt this will ever happen.

Absolutely obese people should have to pay for two or more seats on an airplane. I’ve seen people so fat that three seats were necessary. Not charging them extra would amount to a forced subsidy of obesity by passengers of normal weight. Furthermore, those seated next to a fatso should not have to pay for their ticket. You don’t think that’s fair? Sit next to a big fatso on a long flight and you’ll see what I mean.
