Should NATO ships escort humanitarian aid fleet and check good upon docking for weapons?
In order to do such a thing, there needs to be a body in charge of the operation within NATO. No such thing exists as of now. But you might want to write a letter to NATO and Israel with your idea. Apart for that, Israel is not a member of NATO and as such might not be happy with the outcome. Maybe a UN operation would be a better option than NATO. After all, Israel, being under the immediate circle of effect of contraband coming into Gaza should have a say and a degree of control in such an operation. Apart for Israel’s side you should also see if Hamas is interested in receiving aid through NATO channels. Hamas has surprised in the past with statements, such as the one Hamas gave to Iran, telling them not to send warships to escort the Iranian aid.
