Should music be censored?

No, music should not be censored in the United States for a variety of factors. The major factor as to why music should not be censored is because of the first amendment. Censoring music lyrics takes away our first amendment rights and our freedom of expression. Instead of taking away our first amendment rights, music with explicit lyrics should contain parental warnings on labels, and they do. If parents pay attention to these labels and to what their children are doing, then this should be more than enough without taking our freedom of expression away.
