I agree completely. And though I think Stranger than Fiction could have come off as a comedy, it certainly didn’t appear to be the intent of the movie to me. As for Man of the Year – that movie was absolutely not a comedy, regardless of what the earlier poster stated. The only jokes in the movie occurred when Robin Williams was making campaign speeches, and these were almost always edited in such a way that you could barely hear what he was saying – ie. they would cut to other people talking over him. Yeah, there may have been a laugh in there somewhere, but even the Lord of the Rings had some jokes put in, and I don’t think anyone would consider that a comedy.
