I’m assuming that you are American as we don’t have “boot camps” per say in the UK. And I am also assuming that you are anti-war and that you don’t really have a clue how military training happens. “Destroy recruits former personality and stripping them of their moral convictions” is not the way it works. It is true the “breaking them down, build them back up” regime was used and still may be, but that is mainly taking one person and training them to work as a team effectively. In the British military, and I assume in the US as well, we do lots and lots of training on the rules behind armed conflict, rules which militants around the world don’t follow but we do. We also carry training on moral values. Far, far more than any civilian employer that I am aware of would do. I take great offence to self appeasing “holier-than-thou” w*nkers like you who assume that if we just skip around the world placing flowers in the guns of those who don’t like us, then everything will be well in the wor
