If you bill electronically, you should be submitting all of your claims electronically on the basis of section 3, PL107-105, and the implementing regulation at 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 424.32. This requires you, with limited exceptions, to submit all your initial claims for reimbursement under Medicare electronically, on or after October 16, 2003. There are some exceptions to this electronic claim submission requirement.
