Should maya vati bann the movie aaja nachle for only 3 words in the titile songs?
I’m not sure, but I think this whole mochi-sunar yada yada was all a publicity stunt. One thing’s for sure, now that the ban’s been lifted in UP & Punjab, the curiosity factor will attract people to the halls and give the film, which opened to a lukewarm response, a boost. The same thing will apply to Haryana if the ban is lifted. And if it wasn’t a publicity stunt, then Mayawati is a hopeless twerp. The line didn’t refer to any dalit community; only to the profession. I was myself really dissapointed when I had to cancel my plans for the movie yesterday and just curl up in bed with a Paulo Coelho. Hope you had a better weekend.
