Should Manson family member Susan Atkins be released from prison?
I say let her die in prison. I can usually find a tiny bit of compassion for even murderers, but somehow for Susan Atkins I find none. She deserves to suffer a little bit for what she did to Sharon Tate and her family. I can only imagine how her family must have felt and continues to feel. I did not know Sharon Tate, but I remember when the Manson murders happened even though I was a kid and it affected me. I have 2 children and I can’t bear to think of the agony she must have gone through as she died, knowing her baby was being murdered too. Susan Atkins wants compassion because she has less than 6 months to live, well I think she’s been shown lots of compassion in her life: -Her death penalty was changed to life when laws changed -Lived a good life in prison -No one killed her in prison -Married her attorney -Has many people that support her -Accomplished many of her personal goals while in prison -Brain cancer taking her in 6 months Sounds to me like society and the universe has giv
