I MOSTLY agree with weareallhypocrites (“The All-Star game is a game for the fans. If that is who the fans picked despite the suspension, then so be it”), BUT, the All-Star game now determines who has home field advantage in the World Series. So, since whether he plays can ultimately have an effect on the outcome of the Series, the suspension should stand. Personally, I still hate the idea that the All-Star game is the determination of home field advantage. It should still be the team with the better record at the end of the normal season.
