Should management policies include accommodating for hidden disabilities?

0

Absolutely, policies should be developed which could be applicable to the total diversity of the workforce. It is important not to create barriers which may prevent talent from fully contributing. In our workforce, a significant proportion of our employees who have identified as a person with a disability, have indicated their disability is non-visible. However they have accommodation needs which if not provided would potentially hamper their productivity, e.g. need for flexible work arrangements, changes to physical environment, technological aids, etc.
