Should Major League Baseball enact tougher rules to stop unruly fans?
Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez has seen his share of crazy situations where fans run onto the field. A few years ago in Philadelphia, when Gonzalez was an assistant for the Braves, a fan jumped over his head from the top of the dugout, went onto the field and dropped to his knees, bowing to honor Ryan Howard before an at-bat. That incident ended peacefully, with security hauling the fan off and handing him to police before he was charged with a misdemeanor for criminal trespassing, along with a fine. One of the latest Phillies fans to act foolishly wasn’t treated so nicely.
