Should Lakewood develop public street ends at various lakes into public parks?
The street ends abutting the lakes generally cannot provide practical public access because of extremely limited size, topography and lack of parking. A better approach may be to sell or exchange these small but potentially valuable parcels with the proceeds to be used for the acquisition and development of more usable park property. Lakewood city officials have moved against speeders and red-light-runners by using photo enforcement cameras. Do you favor this effort and its result? Why or why not? Yes. It has lowered speeds and limited light-running in Lakewood. It is an issue of safety. Personal Statement I hope to apply my training and experience in business and law to make Lakewood city government even more efficient and effective. I will bring a caring commitment to all members of our community to the city council while working to insure public safety, efficient delivery of essential services, a business friendly environment and positive options for our youth.
