There was a proposal for the Muscogee Creek Nation to build a bridge to connect south Tulsa and Jenks that never came through. In January, however, the state Supreme Court rules that Jenks and Bixby would not allow a private company to build and operate the toll bridge without Tulsa being a part of it. Recently, however, the idea has resurfaced, and the National Council will vote on the project on April 25th.
