I know in TX you have to check your firearm when you enter a bar or bank the type kind of people who get in bar fights and/or get so angry that they pull a gun are not the type of people who obey laws so making more laws to deal with their poor behavior does nothing the people who obey laws aren’t the ones we need to worry about

It’s not illegal to drink and drive. It’s illegal to drink over a certain limit and drive. I see no problem with passing the same law for firearms, providing that we’re all given the same freedoms we enjoy with cars (ie. let gun owners carry their guns openly everywhere they go).

If there is a constitutional right to carry a gun, then the government can not make it illegal any more than the can make speaking illegal because you are drinking.
