Should illegal immigrants (asylum seekers and refugees) be allowed in Australia?
No. Look what happened when Rudd fast tracked those 70 odd people on the boat. We will have 6 people in permanent never to leave detention on Christmas Island. Out of 70 “refugees” 6 turned out to be known arms trafficers wanted for terrorist acts. Now no country wants to prosecute them and they have been rejected by ASIOs character test so they are not permitted to leave detention. They face live in Christmas Island. If Rudd had taken his time and had each of the asylum seekers properly checked we would not be in this mess. Terrorists are getting through – they are hiding in amongst the illegal refugees.
