Microsoft recommends the use of the Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport (BOT) specification when developing new USB storage devices. A Bulk-Only Data Interface must include at least one bulk-in and one bulk-out endpoint. The Windows operating system chooses the first bulk-in and bulk-out endpoint for transactions.
